Storm Closes Library, Town Halls
The town halls in both towns and the library have closed early on Thursday and expect to be closed on Friday too.
Both Hamilton Town Hall and Wenham Town Hall closed early on Thursday and are expected to be closed on Friday too because of the Nor’ Easter.
Hamilton Town Manager Michael Lombardo said he made the decision to close Town Hall at 11 a.m. after taking a tour of town on Thursday morning.
“It’s really greasy,” he said about driving conditions. “It just didn’t make sense to have people ride it out and then have them deal with more snow (later this afternoon).”

Wenham Town Hall closed at noon, said Debi Morong, administrative assistant at Wenham Town Hall, and it will also be closed on Friday “unless there is a drastic change in the weather.”
Hamilton-Wenham Library also closed at noon, she said.
