Snapped Tree Limb Cuts Power to Dozens of Hamilton Homes

A large tree branch that fell on Monday afternoon in Hamilton cut power to the Maple Street neighborhood.

More than four dozen residents along Maple Street in Hamilton were without power on Monday afternoon after a tree branch fell on an electric wire.

It happened at about 2:30 on Monday near the intersection of Maple and Arlington streets. The branch blocked most of Maple Street and pulled the electric line low. It cut power to nearby homes.

Nobody was injured and a officer and crews stood by until power was cut to the low-hanging line.
