The annual Pre-Kindergarten screening was postponed to Friday, Feb. 15. Parents of the students that have registered were notified of the postponement, but there are a few time slots open, according to Donna Brockenbrough, the Student Services Secretary.
Any parents that are interested in having their 3 or 4-year-old child considered for enrollment in September 2013 should call the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District's Student Services office at 978-468-5303 to schedule a screening appointment. Parents can also call the same number to request a brochure.
The Pre-Kindergarten program at Winthrop Elementary School is a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, speech/language and pre-academic development of children 3 and 4-years-old, according to the School District.
