2:48 a.m. A man was arrested after a car stop for marked lanes violation at Bay Road and Patton Drive. Drew R. Fraser, 23, of 401 Brenda Drive, Wilmington, N.C. was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation. He is scheduled for arraigned at Ipswich District Court in Newburyport on Thursday. Officer Andrew Neill made the arrest.

8:55 a.m. A fire call was handled at the Schooling Fields.

12:08 p.m. A ticket was issued after a car stop at Highland Street and Red Coach Road.

3:20 p.m. A ticket was issued after a car stop at Bay and Sagamore Farm roads.

5:07 p.m. A ticket was issued after a car stop at Highland Street and Sharon Road.

5:17 p.m. A vehicle was illegally parked on Chebacco Road.

5:26 p.m. A car stop was conducted at Highland Street and Gail Avenue.

5:47 p.m. A fire alarm on Willow Street was caused by an accidental activation or defective alarm.

6:52 p.m. An arrest was made after a hit and run crash on Chebacco Road. William Paul Curr, 53, of 2 Surrey Lane, Hamilton was charged with second offense of operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Police said a Chebacco Road resident reported the crash and the vehicle was found a few doors down with “significant front end damage and roof damage.”  Carr was taken by ambulance to Beverly Hospital after the crash, where he was treated and released. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Ipswich District Court in Newburyport. The arrest was made by Sgt. Stephen Walsh.
