Hamilton Parking Ban Starts Tuesday Night

A parking ban in Hamilton starts on Tuesday night.

An on-street winter storm parking ban goes into effect in Hamilton on Tuesday night.

Town Manager Michael Lombardo made the announcement at about 5 p.m. in a Connect-CTY phone and e-mail message. He said that starting at 8 p.m. parking is prohibited on all streets in Hamilton until further notice.

The ban means that on-street parking is banned all over town, except by Fire Department, Police Department, Department of Public Works and "other public safety and public utility repair vehicles."

Violators face a $20 fine and could have their vehicle towed at their expense.
