Saturday, May 26

1:18 a.m. A man was arrested after a car stop on Woodbury Street, just over the Wenham town line on Rubbly Road. John Mannino, 38, of 16 Birch Grove Heights, Gloucester was charged with his third offense of driving under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, speeding, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, improper left turn, operating a motor vehicle to endanger and disorderly conduct. Police did not specify what Mannino allegedly struck or where the crash occurred.  He was released on $5,000 cash bail and scheduled to be arraigned in Ipswich District Court in Newburyport on May 31. Officer Andrew Neil made the arrest.

4:02 p.m. A female was arrested after a car stop on Bay Road. Somebody reported an erratic driver to police and Officer Joe Achadinha stopped the car. Dawn M. Kindred, 49, of 35 Holten St., Danvers was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation. She was released on personal recognizance and scheduled to be arraigned in Ipswich District Court in Newburyport on May 31.

7:34 p.m. An Ipswich man was taken into protective custody on Madonna Drive after a call for assistance.
