There are two three-year seats up for election on the Hamilton Board of Selectmen and the deadline to return signed papers is the end of the day on Thursday.
On Tuesday, three people came in to "pull papers" to run for the Hamilton Board of Selectmen - Bill Dery, Jacob "Jack" Hauck and Scott Maddern.
Dery is in his first term on the School Committee and has also been actively involved on the Hamilton-Wenham Capital Management Committee for many years. Hauck recently moved to Hamilton from Wenham, where he was an active member of the trustees at the Maples condominiums and is a published author who frequently speaks about local history. Maddern is a member of the Hamilton Finance Advisory Committee.
Marc Johnson, who is finishing his first three-year term on the board, had previously announced he is seeking reeelction.
The deadline to pull papers was the end of the day on Tuesday, so only candidates that have pulled papers can now return them with the required 40 signatures on Thursday. A complete list of every candidate that has pulled papers is attached to this story as a PDF.
The election is on April 11.
