Former Winthrop Principal Finalist Now a Finalist in Peabody

Less than a year after she was a finalist for the top job at a Hamilton elementary school, the former media specialist is a finalist for a principal job in Peabody.

Amy Pasquarello, who was one of the two finalists for the principal job at Winthrop Elementary School last year, is now a finalist to be a principal in Peabody.

She is one of two finalist for the principal job at Carroll School in Peabody, where retired principal Paul Guerrette was hired as Interim Principal in August, according to a report in Peabody Patch.

The other finalists were Linda Currety and Rebecca Gordon.

Pasquarello is currently a fifth grade teacher and assistant principal at the Burke School in Peabody.

Last year, she was one of two finalists to become principal at Winthrop. The job went to Christopher Heath, who came to Hamilton for an elementary school principal position in Woburn.

As for the other finalists in Peabody, Curretty is the lower school principal at the Tenney Grammar School in Methuen and Gordon is the assistant principal at Northeast Elementary School in Waltham.

Nearly 40 candidates applied for the Peabody job. The finalists will be interviewed later this month.
