Wreck at Golf Course Sends One Patient to Hospital

The following activity for the Wenham Police and Fire Department comes from the Essex County Regional Emergency Communication Center log for Wenham.

Wednesday, July 17

  • At 10:14 a.m., police directed traffic while the Fire Department cut away a low-hanging branch at the Gordon College gate
  • At 4:11 p.m., police received a call about young people skateboarding in the area of 4 Hilltop Drive. Police spoke with the skateboarders.
  • Police redacted a report about a domestic dispute involving a minor. There is no information in the log about when or where the incident took place.
  • At 8:15 p.m., callers reported a wreck at 51 Main St., in the area of the golf course. One patient was taken by ambulance for treatment at Beverly Hospital while three other people declined medical treatment.
  • At 10:09 p.m., a resident called police about seeing car headlights at Pingree Park. Police investigated and found someone was looking for a wallet that had been lost in the field.
