Firefighters from several North Shore communities braved freezing temperatures while battling a blaze at 15 Walnut in Hamilton Thursday night.

Twitter reports indicate that the fire originated in a fireplace and ripped through the roof of the restaurant, which is located in the Shoppes at Hamilton Crossing.

This is the second roof fire at the restaurant in two years. Hamilton-Wenham Patch posted this story in June 2012 after a roof fire forced them to close.

Firefighters from Ipswich and Manchester assisted at the scene, according to scanner reports.

Hamilton-Wenham Patch will post additional information as it becomes available.
