Police K9, Jaws of Life Part of Saturday's Public Safety Day

Saturday is Public Safety Day at the Hamilton Public Safety Building.

It is Public Safety Day on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Hamilton Public Safety Building. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be an open house, smoke house, State Police K-9 and Jaws of Life demonstrations.

Police and fire vehicles will be on display, according to Hamilton Police Sgt. Stephen Walsh.

McGruff the Crime Dog and Smokey the Bear will also be on hand.

In addition to the public safety vehicles and demonstrations, there will be a bouncy house for kids, face painting and refreshments, including free popcorn and ice cream.
