2:23 a.m. A man was arrested after an alarm was activated at at Highland and Asbury streets. Joshua Fleuriel, 26, of 22 Lake Shore Ave., Georgetown, was charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony and larceny over $250. Sgt. Ken Nagy and Officer Andrew Neill made the arrest. After the arrest he was released on $2,000 cash bail and scheduled to be arraigned in Ipswich District Court in Newburyport on July 21.

7:47 a.m. Assistance was rendered at the station.
