The Bulletin reported that the crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. on the northbound side of I-395 as cars were slowing as they neared an earlier accident that seriously injured a Connecticut man. O’Meara was a passenger in one of the cars that was hit from behind by a third car “at a high rate of speed,” as they all headed toward the first crash scene, the Bulletin said.
