Hamilton Emergency Crews and Families Honor Sept. 11 Victims

A small gathering was organized outside the Hamilton Public Safety Complex on Saturday morning, Sept. 11, to honor those killed in the terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington, DC and Pennsylvania nine years ago.

A small and solemn ceremony on Saturday honored the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

The event, which was not a widely publicized event, was held on the morning of the anniversary of the attacks in front of the Public Safety Complex on Bay Road. It consisted of a few members of the Board of Selectmen along with Fire and Police department members and their families.

The flag in front of the complex was lowered to half staff and participants gathered in a semicircle in the parking lot.
