A fire at a commuter rail maintenance facility in Somerville has cancelled and delayed some North Shore commuter rail trains on Monday evening, including trains headed to and from Hamilton-Wenham station.

Outbound train 177, which is scheduled to leave North Station at 4:20 p.m., was delayed over 20 minutes. The train is normally scheduled to get to Hamilton-Wenham station at 5:06 p.m.

Earlier, the MBTA said that train 67, which typically leaves North Station in Boston headed for Beverly at 4:45 p.m., was cancelled. Similarly, train 68, which typically leaves Beverly Depot headed for North Station at 5:40 p.m., was also cancelled. The T said both cancellations were because of a fire at the Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility in Somerville, also known as the Boston Engine Terminal.
