Driver That Struck, Killed Hamilton Bicyclist Did Not Have a License
More details have emerged about the driver that struck and killed a Hamilton woman in a non-competitive bicycle ride on Saturday in New Hampshire.
The driver that struck and killed a Hamilton bicycle rider on a Century Ride in New Hampshire on Saturday was driving without a license at the time of the crash, reports Seacoast Online.
The Portsmouth, N.H.-based publication said in a story posted early Monday afternoon that Hampton, N.H. Deputy Police Chief Richard Sawyer said Darriean Hess, 20, of Seabrook, did not have a license at the time of the 8:30 a.m. crash that killed Pamela Wells and a friend.
Additionally, Hess was stopped by Hampton police about eight hours earlier for speeding and was issued a summons and ordered to call someone with a license to come get her car, Sawyer told Seacoast Online.
