Local Author Got Help on First Novel from Library Patrons
Barbara Lawrence used feedback from Hamilton-Wenham Library users to help her write her first novel "Island in Time."
Barbara Lawrence has published her first novel, and has several of the regular users of Hamilton-Wenham Library to thank for their help.
Lawrence had an early copy of "Island in Time" placed on the shelf at the library, asking readers to leave feedback and critique. Some of the feedback was user to tweak and improve the book, including a recommendation that the cover image be changed, Lawrence said.
She'll be appearing at the library on Wednesday evening, offering a book talk and book signing. Books will also be for sale.
