Wenham Resident Appointed as Director of Women's Imaging at Mount Auburn Hospital

Mount Auburn Hospital is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Audrey D. Duva-Frissora, MD, of Wenham, Massachusetts. Dr. Duva-Frissora will be serving as the Director of Women's Imaging for the Hoffman Breast Center and Department of Radiology.

Dr. Duva-Frissora graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at (the) Boston University Medical Center.  She completed her Fellowship in Cross Sectional Body Imaging at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Duva-Frissora comes to Mount Auburn Hospital by way of Beverly Hospital where she served as Section Head of Breast Imaging and Director of Aurora Breast MRI. Prior to her position at Beverly Hospital, she served as Director of Breast Imaging at The Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Massachusetts.  Dr. Duva-Frissora is Board Certified in Radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology and Society of Breast Imaging.

“Dr. Duva-Frissora joins us with an extensive background in Diagnostic Radiology and we are fortunate to add such a skilled professional to our team,” said Michael Shortsleeve, MD, Chair of the Department of Radiology at Mount Auburn Hospital. “Dr. Duva-Frissora will undoubtedly aid in the Hoffman Breast Center’s continued success and patient care expertise, as well as that of our Radiology Department.”

"As we enter this new era of "personalized medicine", I am more optimistic than ever in our pursuit to rein in the incidence and mortality of breast cancer,” said Dr. Duva-Frissora.
