Lt's get a 2nd opinion

We’re told, by our Selectmen, that the current Patton Park pool cannot be used anymore. They’ve had an engineering study done that confirms this.

Now, a few private citizens have come forward offering to pay for a second engineering study of the pool. This will not even cost the town a dime.

Before jumping in at the deep end of this multi-million-dollar pool, shouldn’t we at least see if the current pool can be rescued?

Yes, I know it’s over 50 years old, but so are a lot of us who live by that old saying, “A penny saved is a penny earned.” Hey, who knows this second study might even save us  a 1,000,000 pennies or more.

Our neighbors in Wenham don’t seem to be willing to put some cash towards the pool, so we should be looking to find ways to keep us from being $oaked by pouring too much ca$h into a pool that we may not even need to replace right away.
