Five Things to Know Today in Hamilton and Wenham: May 16

Today is Wednesday, May 16. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Better: Wednesday is expected to be an improvement, weatherwise, over Tuesday afternoon and evening. We were able to escape with an OK day on Tuesday, and Wednesday is shaping up to be much of the same, with temperatures close to 70 degrees.

2. Senior Showcase: The artwork of this year’s seniors at will be on display in the visual arts wing at the school on Wednesday night from 6-7 p.m. as part of the . The Showcase reception kicks off an hour before the spring concert.

3. Wenham Town Hall: It has been a recent tradition to have some officers closed to the public on Fridays during the summer at . On Tuesday, Interim Town Administrator Mark Andrews said "after careful review" he decided that this summer, instead, the Town's Hall's usual Friday hours of 9 a.m.-1 p.m. will remain in place.

4. Spring Concert: The musical talents of Regional students will be on display on Wednesday night in the Ferrini Dramatics Center at the school, where the concert band, jazz band, concert choir and Harmony will all perform in Choral Conductor Abby Frost and Director of Bands Erik Fecke will lead the performances, plus there will be two guest conductors – student teacher Sam Luddy and Interim School Superintendent Peter Gray. The concert is free and open to the public.

5. Grow-a-Row: Last year, was the recipient of a lot of fresh vegetables from the . Well, the program is hoping to be bigger and better in 2012. Stop by the between 6-7 p.m. , donated by , to become part of the program and get some growing tips.
