Five Things to Know Today in Hamilton and Wenham: June 25

Today is Monday, June 25. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Rain: Monday will be a mostly cloudy and rainy day – a real 180 from Sunday’s spectacular weather. There may be some heavy showers that will move through and more than an inch of rain may fall during the day. Temperatures will get into the lower 70s.

Winthrop Principal: Parents interested is having a say on the characteristics for the new principal are encouraged to show up at the school’s library on Monday at 10 a.m. The search is getting underway she is leaving to become a principal at an elementary school in New Hampshire. Hamilton Selectmen: The Hamilton Board of Selectmen are scheduled to meet on Monday night at 7 p.m. at with only one item on the agenda – a non-public executive session to discuss an item related to the “purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property.” The board has provided no further details about the property that it will be discussing or what is planned for it.
