Five Things to Know Today in Hamilton and Wenham: Aug. 6

Today is Monday, Aug. 6. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Drier: After enduring some stifling humidity for most of the weekend, forecasters say the air on Monday will be much drier. Temperatures will get well into the 80s.

2. The Vineyard: The is still taking registrations for a trip later this month . On Thursday, Aug. 16 the trip will include a ferry trip on the Island Queen. Once there you’ll have a narrated bus tour plus be able to get in some shopping. Dinner will be at Old Country Buffet. The trip will leave at 7 a.m. and return at 7 p.m. The cost is $85 per person and the deadline to register and pay is this Friday.
