Hamilton Woman Dies at 89

A funeral will be held Wednesday for Alice R. Morse.

Alice R. (Epstein) Morse, 89, of Hamilton, beloved wife of the Late Richard Morse died Friday February 21, 2014 at the Hannah Dustin Nursing Home in Haverhill, MA. Born in Salem on June 21, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Anna (Vanusky) and Meyer Epstein.

Alice took great pride in her home and was devoted to raising her family. She loved to go sailing, to the beach, and take long walks; she also loved animals. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Alice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dona Labrecque and Richard of Haverhill, her four sons, Donald Morse of Hamilton, Douglas Morse of Plaistow, NH. David Morse and his wife Caroline of Sandown, NH, and Darcy Morse of Attleboro, MA. Seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters Anna Leblanc and Mildred Ambrose.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot St., Beverly, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell - Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly, Tuesday from 4 - 7 p.m. Burial in the Hamilton Cemetery.
