Five Things You Need to Know Today: Jan. 23

Today is Monday, Jan. 23. Here are five things you need to know

1. Warm: The big melt will begin on Monday, with temperatures rising into the 40s during the day with some rain.

2. Swamp lunch: If you are interested in joining Thursday’s “swamp lunch” with Wenham resident Jack Hauck during his at the , Monday is the deadline to register. The lunch will include wild turkey on drumlin rolls, chocolate turtles and real birch beer. To register, call 978-468-5529.

3. Second semester: After exams last week, students at begin the second semester on Monday.
