Rain Plans in Place for Two Town Fourth

There are back-ups plans for the Two Town Fourth on Friday in case it rains.

The Community House of Hamilton and Wenham has plans in place for the Two Town Fourth festivities in case it rains on Friday.

To start, if it rains all outdoor activities on the Fourth of July will be cancelled, including the bicycle parade.

Everything else will happen inside at the Community House.

A decision on whether or not the rain plan will go into place will be made by 8 a.m. on Friday and be publicized through signs on the lawn at the Community House and at the United Methodist Church - both on Bay Road.

If it the rain from Hurricane Arthur forces the festivities inside, it will start at 10:15 a.m. with an Independence Day welcome and recognition including the National Anthem and patriotic songs performed by the Solstice Singers.

From 10:30-11:30 a.m., "The Music Man" Brian Doser will provide musical entertainment.

If it does not rain, the festivities begin at 10 a.m. with a bicycle parade starting at the Methodist Church, heading south on Bay Road to Patton Park. The parade forms at 9:45 a.m.

Afterward, there will be patriotic music at the gazebo in Patton Park and "Cow Pie Bingo."
