Northeast Arc 43rd Annual Mike Frangos Golf Tournament

Monday, September 24th marks the Northeast Arc’s 43rd Annual Mike Frangos Commodore Invitational Golf Tournament.  Lead sponsor Boston Private Bank & Trust has teamed up with the Northeast Arc to present an opportunity for avid golfers to play a round at the historic Myopia Hunt Club in South Hamilton while supporting a truly great cause.  All proceeds support the Northeast Arc’s valuable programs and services for children and adults living with disabilities in more than 150 communities in Massachusetts.

The tournament is played in memory of Mike Frangos, who owned the popular Commodore Restaurant in Beverly. The Commodore Invitational has raised $2 million which has helped people living with disabilities lead full,
meaningful lives. The Northeast Arc provides Early Intervention Services for more than 500 children; homes for 112 adults; training and business office assistance for more than 2,000 individuals living independently with support  from personal care attendants; employment and independent living skill development to over 200 people; job placement services; an Autism Support Center, and a full range of recreational opportunities.

The Commodore Invitational helps to continue these programs and more.  It is the longest continually running charity golf tournament in the United States.  There are two flights – morning and afternoon. Breakfast, lunch and
dinner are provided.  The morning run starts at 7:00 AM and costs $300 per person.  The afternoon starts at 12:15 PM and is limited to sponsors at the $3,000 level and up.  Come and enjoy an incredible opportunity to play a
round at Myopia, win great raffle & golf prizes, and bid on live/silent auction items brought to you by Ray McGuiggin, the voice of the Commodore Open  – all while providing important services that help thousands of local families.
Certain levels of sponsorship include guaranteed foursomes in the afternoon flight, which quickly sells out.  Dinner-only packages are also available.
