Samantha Flahive and Lucy Perrotta in Boston Children's Theatre's HAIR August 9 - 11

‘Let the sunshine in’ on 16-year old Samantha Flahive and 15-year
old Lucy Perrotta who are appearing in Boston Children’s Theatre’s (BCT) production
of the Tony® Award winning musical HAIR
HAIR will be performed at
August 9, 10 and 11 at The Governor’s Academy in Byfield, MA.



Lucy Perrotta has been cast in the role of ‘Ronny’ in HAIR
She was previously seen at BCT in Legally
Blonde
and The Wedding Singer.  A student at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High
School, Lucy has also appeared in many school productions.



Playing the role of ‘Leata,’ Samantha Flahive has an
extensive theatrical resume.  She has
appeared in Annie Get Your Gun at
Riverside Theatre, The King and I at
Turtle Lane Playhouse, You’re a Good Man
Charlie Brown
at Community House Theater, and A New Brain with Longwood Players. 
With the Lexington Players, she has been seen in It’s A Wonderful Life, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and Beauty and the Beast.  She has also performed with the Neverland
Theatre in Chicago, Grease, Cats, The Wizard
of Oz
and Peter Pan.  A student at the Walnut Hill School for the
Arts, she recently appeared in their production of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Featuring such chart topping songs as “Aquarius,”  “Let the Sunshine In,” and “Good Morning, Starshine,”
HAIR is the ultimate rock
musical.  With book and lyrics by James
Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot, HAIR is a celebration of youth and their search for peace, truth
and love in the tumultuous Vietnam era.  
HAIR is directed by Burgess
Clark with choreography by Aly Struyk and music direction by Austin Davy.



HAIR will be performed by a cast of 30 performers between the ages of 14 and 19 at
The Governor’s Academy, 1 Elm Street, Byfield, MA.  Performances are Friday, August 9 at 8:00 pm,
Saturday, August 10 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, August 11 at 2:00 pm.  Tickets are $20 and $15 for adults and $15
