A passionate singer/songwriter, Boston-based Matt Koelsch [’kel-sh’] has built up a loyal fan base within the Northeast through stirring lyrics, permeating rhythms and soaring vocals. His live shows are sometimes stripped-down affairs, consisting of Koelsch on vocals and acoustic accompanied by a percussionist, although most performances are backed by The Allies. 

With intimate venues and performances as the backdrop for Koelsch’s debut EP/album, "Take Good Care", his songs strike a chord with audience members as he draws upon the gains and losses experienced in his life for inspiration. Infectious melodies, thought provoking lyrics and passionate delivery characterize Matt Koelsch as he brings his own flavor to the Alt-Rock genre.
