Historic Milestones of Essex County - Trails and Sails Event

Join mother & son team Mary and James Gage as they share with us their knowledge of the history of the many mile markers and stone structures that dot our old by-ways.   When entering the Wenham Museum parking area, look to the front of the Wenham Town Hall for an example of one of this historic stones.

Also, join us for the Family Cemetery Scavenger Hunt where a milestone is embedded in the Wenham Cemetery wall.
