Fiddler On The Roof musical production

About 45 students from Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School are rehearsing for the upcoming production of “Fiddler on the Roof” in the school’s newly-renovated Ferrini Dramatics Center.


 


Performances will be the first two weekends of November: Nov. 2, 3, 9, and 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets at the door are $10 for students and seniors; $12 for adults.

The acclaimed musical - with the iconic songs “Tradition,” “Matchmaker,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset” - is directed by Chris Shailor, longtime head of the high school drama department.

Students attending Hamilton-Wenham Regional High live in Hamilton, Wenham, Salem, Peabody, Saugus, Amesbury, Rockport, Georgetown, Gloucester, Danvers, Ipswich, Topsfield, Lynn, Newbury, Rowley, Boxford, and surrounding North Shore towns. Of the 45 students in the musical’s cast and crew, most live in Hamilton, Wenham, and Rockport and range in age from freshmen to seniors.


 


The show will take place at the high school, 775 Bay Road (Route 1A) in South Hamilton in the Ferrini Dramatics Center which has a new sound system and all new lights, curtains, and seats.
