Be a part of something bigger: Boy Scout Open House

Check-out Scouts - Jan 13 at 7:00pm

If there’s one thing Scouts know, it’s that the best part of earning a badge is the experience.  And with badges ranging from backpacking to robotics, there are tons of cool experiences to be had.  So if you son is looking for real adventure, come together to the Boy Scout Open House on January 13, from 7:00-8:30 at the Scout Barn at the Iron Rail at 91 Grapevine Road in Wenham.  You’ll see firsthand how once-in-a-lifetime opportunities can lead to a lifetime of success and friendships.

Troop 28 meets through out the school year on Monday nights from 7 to 8:30pm with week-end outdoor activities scheduled through-out the year, such as camping, cross-country skiing, boating, target sports, fishing, biking, and community events.   The troop attends a weeklong summer camp in July also.

Boy Scouts offers a year round program for boys ages 11-18 (grades 5-12).  Interested in joining us for a game and checking out our upcoming events, contact Scoutmaster Ron Gauthier, at 978-468-1170 or RJ_Gauthier@msn.com.  Families with boys 6-11 years old can contact Matt Bailey about Cub Scouts, at 978-468-7331 or Matthbailey@gmail.com.
