Selectman Jeffrey Hubbard Re-elected

Hubbard beat challenger Shawn Farrell in Thursday's election, according to unofficial vote totals.

Selectman Jeffrey Hubbard was re-elected in Thursday's town election.

Hubbard beat challenger Shawn Farrell by a count of 513 votes to 494, according to unofficial totals.

The race was the only contested one on Thursday's ballot.

Jane Wetson was re-elected town clerk, while William Dery, Roger Kuebel, Stacey Metternick, and Lawrence Swartz were all elected to the School Committee.

The turnout was 19 percent. Of the 5,661 registered voters in town, 1,016 voted Thursday.
