Winter Weather Advisory Remains as Storm is a 'Bust'

Less than an inch of snow fell on Monday night even as a winter weather advisory remains in place by the National Weather Service.

A winter storm watch was still in effect for Tuesday even though the storm ended on Monday night with less than an inch of snow.

Very few schools in the area cancelled or postponed schools. Endicott College in Beverly announced Monday night it would open 2 hours late on Tuesday.

The snow stopped falling by 10 p.m. with less than an inch of snow on the ground. At one point on Monday, forecasters - including most Boston TV meteorlogists and the National Weather Service - were calling for anywhere from 4-9 inches of snow in our area.
