Two to Four Inches of Snow Expected Saturday Night

A small snowstorm - the first accumulating snow in Hamilton and Wenham in three weeks - is expected on Saturday night.

Winter is expected to return to Hamilton and Wenham on Saturday night – albeit in a small dose.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for 10 p.m. on Saturday through Sunday at 10 a.m. Two to four inches of snow is expected to fall.

The snow is expected to affect driving across a swath of the state north of the Massachusetts Turnpike. The snow is forecasted to begin between 9 p.m. and midnight on Saturday and end by noon on Sunday.

Temperatures will be in the lower 20s and wind will blow at about five miles per hour from the east. Visibility may drop to less than a mile and driving could be tough at times.
