Five Things to Know Today in Hamilton and Wenham: Sept. 10

Today is Monday, Sept. 10. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Sun: Monday is forecasted to be a sunny day, albeit a cool day. Temperatures are not expected to get much above 70 degrees. There will also be a strong northwest wind.

2. Up With People: The are behind us, and one performer tweeted on Sunday that about 2,000 people attended the shows at .

3. Low Number License Plates: If you were one of the 7,500 people that applied to get a low number license plate, Monday is the day you’ll find out if you get one. The 124 low numbers plates, including 73, 295, 449, 493, 7755 and 1Z, will be awarded in a drawing from 8-10 p.m. on the Nightside with Dan Rea show on WBZ radio 1030.

4. North Shore Swim Club: The North Shore Swim Club, which practices at in Wenham and at Salem State University, . The team is for swimmers age 4-18.

5. Hamilton Selectmen: The Hamilton Board of Selectmen meets on Monday night at at 7 p.m., with the board scheduled to consider appointments to the Patton Park Pool Committee and a new member on the Finance Advisory Committee, which at one point in recent weeks was down to one member.
