BREAKING: 4.5 Maine Earthquake Felt in Two Towns

The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 4.5 shake near Lake Arrowhead, Maine

Small tremors were felt in Hamilton and Wenham on Tuesday night after a 4.5 magnitude earthquake near Lake Arrowhead, Maine

The epicenter of the quake was about 90 miles north of the two towns. Lake Arrowhead is in York County, about 30 miles west of Portland.

Felt shaking and loud rumbling here in South Portland.

Felt it here in Hamilton, MA, and so did our two dogs who began barking. It was slight and similar to the feeling you may occasionally experience when a large snow plow rumbles down the street.
