What is the Best Local 'Staycation' Activity?

Please vote for what you think is the best local Staycation activity by taking our poll and by clicking on the directory link and writing a short review.

This week's Best of Patch Readers' Choice contest focuses on the upcoming summer and things to do locally with the family.

What is the best local place for Staycation fun?

Here are some of our picks (in alphabetical order) that, beyond Hamilton and Wenham, include a few other North Shore picks. If we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:

  • Discover Hamilton trail and other local trails
  • (pick-your-own)
  • Monkey Joe's
  • Wenham Rail Trail and Danvers Swampwalk

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places in accordance with the rules in the attached PDF. Please vote only once per survey.

I would add Chebacco Lake to the list. Swim, fish, row, canoe, kayak, paddleboard, sail, cruise around in a pontoon boat or other motor boat, water ski, ice skate or just observe nature.

I'd add Bothways Farms, the Witch Museum, Stagefort Park, Patton's Tank, Topsfield Green, Asbury Grove, Eagle's Nest, Shipbuilding Museum, the big Flea Market on the way to Newburyport, downtown Newburyport, Cherry Farm Creamery and Bearskin Neck. What on earth is Monkey Joe's?

Lucy, you don't seem like my type of gal. I need a real classy lady.

Monkey Joe's in one of those indoor inflatable play places. It is in Danvers. And Patton's Tank can fall under Patton Park. Thank you for the other suggestions.
