Wenham Man to Open Restaurant at New 'Lifestyle' Mall

Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse, owned by Wenham resident Steve DiFillippo, opens its newest restaurant Wednesday at MarketStreet Lynnfield.
DiFillippo grew up in Lynnfield, so the opening represents a homecoming of sorts for him. He was the restaurant's original chef when he opened up on Newbury Street in Boston back in 1985.
MarketStreet is a 680,000-square-foot "lifestyle center" just off Route 128 that has been under construction for more than a year. Many of its major stores are holding grand opening celebrations this week.
In the attached video clip, DiFillippo talks about the differences one might find in the cuisine to the north of Rome compared to well-known southern Italian style dishes.
