Fallon's to Get New Sign, Affiliation

Fallon's will become affiliated with Sunoco and get a new sign to display the gas price.

Wenham’s only gas station will be getting  a new look.

Fallon’s Auto Service, at the corner of Main and Linden streets, will become a Sunoco station and get a new, internally lit gas price sign.

The new look has received the OK from the Historic District Commission and on Thursday was granted a special permit because it exceeds to size limits in the town’s sign bylaw.

“When I’m closed at night it will be off,” owner John Fallon told the ZBA.

The station will change its affiliation from Mobil to Sunoco too.

The new sign will be moved further away from the intersection where there will be more room on the lot.

Fallon’s in the third gas station to add an internally lit sign to be added in recent years to display the gas price. Just over the town line, north on Route 1A, both Oliver Gulf and Hamilton Convenience have both added new signs.
