Black Cow Closed for Renovations, Plans Vestibule and Fireplace Changes

The Black Cow restaurant in Hamilton is closed for renovations.

The in Hamilton closed in recent days to undergo renovations, according to several signs on the front windows of the downtown Hamilton business.

Owner Joe Leone said on Wednesday that he does not yet have all the details on the changes planned for the Bay Road restaurant – one of three public restaurants in Hamilton with waiter service. He said he would update Patch about the planned renovations when he has them. Leone didn’t say how long the renovations would take or whether he plans anything such as a name change or cuisine changes.

The Black Cow has filed for a building permit to remove the front vestibule and to create a gas fire pit in the existing fireplace, according to the Hamilton Building Department. The changes have the approval of the too.
