Highland Street Down To One Lane After Trash Truck Crash

Highland Street in Hamilton is down to one lane on Monday afternoon following a crash involving a trash truck.

The Waste Management truck crashed at about 12:45 p.m. near the intersection of Gail Avenue. It snapped a double utility pole, sending wires close to the ground.

National Grid electric crews arrived at about 1:15 p.m. and police said the road would be down to at least one lane for an hour.
