MTV Airs Final Episode of Hamilton Man's Show

"Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous" was written and produced by Hamilton native Bo Burnham.

Bo Burnham, the Hamilton man who first became famous from the YouTube videos he shot in his bedroom, saw the last episode on his TV show air Saturday night on MTV.

“Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous” aired 10 episodes, wrapping up with the final episode on Saturday night.

“The cancellation adds a nice bit of poetry to the arc of the final episodes, as Zach finds himself running out of money and possibly losing his beloved cameras (and show) forever,” Burnham wrote in a post on his Facebook page on Thursday.

“Zach Stone” was written and produced by Burnham and about "about a kid fresh out of high school who's pursing the new American dream of being a celebrity without having any talent."

Burnham said “Zack Stone” may end up on another network, but said there are no specific plans for it now.  The episodes remain available to watch online.

“If you liked the show, I am sorry that you won’t be getting more of it soon. But please don’t feel sorry for me. I am the luckiest guy that I know. And my experience with “Zach Stone” has only affirmed that belief,” he wrote.
