Five Things To Do with the Kids This Week

Here's a few ideas for what to do with the little ones and a treat for the tweens' this week in Hamilton and Wenham.

You're time-pressed enough, so once again we are doing the research and finding the best things to do and places to go in Hamilton and Wenham and within reasonable striking distance.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK


Where/When: . Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 3:30 p.m.

Why Go: In this delightful themed based tea-party, party goers will enjoy stories, games and crafts as well as the customary refreshments. Separate tea social for adults.

Pricing: $20 per person.  


Where/When: . Wednesday, Feb. 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: A mime will present "Laughter, the Best Medicine" and a Joy of Movement presentation will explore healthy motion and exercise. There will also be healthy snacks available.

•COOKING CLASSES

Where/When: Eurostoves, 45 Enon St., Beverly. Thursday, Feb. 25 and Friday Feb. 26 at 10 a.m.

Why Go: This class is designed for youth ages 12 to 17. They can go to learn how to cook like or take some lessons from .

Pricing: $65 per class. Registration required.


Where/When: . Friday, Feb. 25 at 9 a.m. for ages 3 to 5, and at 10:30 a.m. for ages 6 and up.

Why Go: Children learn how the farm operates during the winter. They will collect eggs and water animals.

Pricing: $12

 

Where/When: Group meets at . Sunday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.

Why: It is Sunday. Get outside to the Colloredo-Mansfeld family land that abuts and learn how to track and identify wildlife. This program is fun and educational for the entire family.

Pricing: Free. Registration required.
