Five Things To Do With the Family and Kids

Spring into action this week with a range of family-friendly and kid-friendly local activity ideas.

Thank you for checking out this week’s Grab & Go Kids Planner, a selection of five kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children.

You're time-pressed enough, so once again we are doing the research and finding the best things to do and places to go in Hamilton and Wenham and within reasonable striking distance.

Where/When: . Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. 

Why Go: Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo. It’s a tea party just for youth.

Pricing: $20. Call to find out availability.


Where/When: Recreation Center (at the ), 16 Union St., Hamilton. Thursday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m.

Why Go: An organized playgroup that gives children an opportunity to do all sorts of stuff, from run around the gym or do crafts to use Legos or read books.

Pricing: $5 per family.

Where/When: . Friday at 5:45 p.m.

Why Go: A supervised fun-time smorgasbord for kids while parents enjoy an evening out.

Pricing: $10 for first child, $5 each additional child.

Where/When: . Saturday at 10 a.m.

Why Go: Music, live bird demonstration, story and finger play, theatre games, auctions and more.

Pricing: Free.

Where/When: . Sunday at 1 p.m.

Why: Children ages five and up can make their very own spring fairy.

Pricing: $25, includes supplies and museum admission.
