Where/When: A.J. Gordon Chapel, ; Friday, 7 p.m.
Why Go: It’s a great way to see the wide range of musical talents from across the school district all in one place. The concert features 240 elementary, middle school, and high school musicians plus a guest performance by Gordon College ensembles. It will culminate with a massed bands performance of Mellitts' "QUAD," which was composed specifically for the event.
Where/When: Lane Student Center, ; Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Why Go: It will be a great way to enjoy physical activity and quality time with your family, plus the opportunity to take part in activities you normally don’t do, such as challenge courses and rock climbing.
Pricing: $25 per person
Where/When: ; Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Why Go: It’s a great way to continue the spring cleaning process and help local students pay for the senior class’ “all-night” event. Electronics ranging from computers and television monitors to air conditioners and dehumidifiers.
Pricing: Fees vary, $5 or $10 for most items; Wooden console TVs are $14 and projection TVs are $20.
Where/When: ; Saturday, 2 p.m.
Why Go: Spring is here and this event is a great way to find out more about Community Supported Agriculture plus see the animals at the farm and meet the farmers.
Where/When: ; Sunday 3-5 p.m.
Why Go: It is going to be a good time – plain and simple. Hosts Peter and Bea Britton of Brick Ends Farm and First Light Farm have built on the success of last year’s event and the May Pole will return, for sure. Celtic and Druid rituals will be performed to “wake up the earth.” Visitors are suggested to bring their own refreshments and use the driveway at 466 Highland St., across from the exit driveway.
