Self-Portraits as a Means of Self Expression:

Grades 9-12

Self-Portraits have been a topic of exploration for artists throughout the ages.  For those students planning to apply to colleges with a portfolio requirement, at least one self-portrait is a common request.  Students will meet three times per week and will be expected to work on assignments between sessions.  Students will complete at least 2 self-portraits.  One in a more traditional style, and the second, non-traditional.

Some experience with drawing will be helpful.

Classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays

July 30-August 10  1:30-3:30 pm

Class fee: $ 225.   Materials list will be supplied at first class.
