Celebrate the service of American soldiers from the Civil War through WWII in Wenham Museum’s Military History Day. Re-enactors and members of the Living History Museum will be available to share artifacts and swap stories. Families will enjoy exploring vintage war vehicles, popular military and homefront songs performed by Share the Music’s strolling singers. History buffs will want to meet author Joseph Garland as he signs copies of his book,Unknown Soldiers: Reliving World War II in Europe and don’t miss a special guest appearance by U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Mark O'Donald, private photographer to General McChrystal and see the Afghan War through his camera lens in his award-winning photographs and hear him tell of his experience in an afternoon lecture.
