Thick fog is expected to linger on Monday morning for the second morning in a row.
A dense fog advisory has been issued for the coastal area of Massachusetts for early Monday, including Hamilton and Wenham. Visibility can be as low as a quarter of mile.
The fog will be so thick in place to make driving hazardous, the weather service said.
“Motorists are advised to slow down as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range,” the weather service said.
A similar condition existed on Sunday morning on the North Shore. By mid-morning on Monday all the fog is expected to have disappeared.
A dense fog advisory means fog, reducing visibility to a quarter mile or mess will be around for three hours or less.
