Storm with Pea-Size Hail Headed Toward Two Towns

Small hail and strong wind gusts were part of a Sunday evening storm headed toward Hamilton and Wenham.

A thunderstorm with the possibility of pea-size hail and wing gusts up to 40 miles per hour is headed toward Hamilton and Wenham on Sunday evening.

The storm was near Georgetown at 5:14 p.m., headed southeast at 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service. The weather service issued an alert about the storm at 5:20 p.m.

Get indoors when this storm approaches,” the National Weather Service said. “Winds may be strong enough to produce minor damage, such as downed branches; Minor urban and poor drainage flooding is also possible.”
