I'm passionate about learning and creating. My wife is always joking that I have a different hobby every month. Recently I decided to learn more about how internal combustion engines work so I bought an old truck and restored it. But I also like working with wood, building furniture and taking continuing educational classes to learn more about the human body and bio-mechanics. When time allows, I enjoy working with Hamilton-Wenham Green. is doing some really wonderful things with that group and helping this community to be a little greener.
Best Book: My current favorite is "Your Money or Your Life," by Joe Dominquez and Vicki Robin. It really inspires me to live more simply so I can get the most out of life.
Best Movie: I don't really watch many movies anymore. I do enjoy the occasional documentary. The last movie I saw in the theaters was "The Matrix." The movies "Cars" and "Pride and Prejudice" get a lot of play at our house.
Dream Vacation: Taking three weeks, renting a motor home and touring the National Parks.
After going to , I fell in love with the North Shore and knew that I wanted to return here to set up my practice. As luck would have it, Dr. Foster was renting the space when I was looking. That was 11 years ago. Last year, Butch (Crosbie) from the Hamilton Historical Society came in and where my office currently stands. It was a little eerie to see that the original building in the late 1800s was called "Gould's" (my last name). It was a small grocery store.
Favorite Place: I love . I often take my lunch breaks there. It is an amazing place and it is right in our backyard.
Favorite Local Shops: There are so many things that I enjoy about the Hamilton shops. I frequent most of them. knows how to make my omelet, knows how I like my sub, can satisfy my occasional sweet tooth and can then fix that tooth. My family spends a great deal of time in that beautiful and resourceful !
I enjoy working in Hamilton. My wife and I have made so many friends here and feel blessed to be a part of the community.
